Fake ‘n’ Bake Pork Chops, Rice, Tomato Gravy, Tossed Salad -Oy please forgive the picture for the recipe here. They were taken three years ago, before I knew *anything* about food photography
Caramelized Garlic and Brown Sugar Chicken, Vegetable Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Salmon with Rosemary and Lemon, Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli
Wine Braised Shoulder Roast, Collard Greens and Northern Beans, Roasted Vegetables
Beef and Cheddar Hoagies*, Ranch Potato Wedges, Carrot and Raisin Salad (Saute any leftover cabbage, tonight, too)
*The Beef and Cheddar Hoagies must be made after the shoulder roast, as they utilize the leftover roast. Just broil leftover roast topped with cheddar until all melty and fabulous.
What are you looking forward to making this week?
I am looking forward to making beef scallopini tonight.
My recent post Glazed Meatloaf- Mashed Potatoes- Spinach with Bacon and Onions
I'm having cheese stuffed crust pizza tonight. 😀
Quick question: how much do you think this menu will cost? I always been horrible at guestimating how much I'm going to end up spending.
My recent post Goodbye 28- Hello 29
It's going to vary a bit, mostly dependent on how groceries are priced in your area. I can tell you that I spend 135 a week feeding six people. However, I do shop loss leaders and if you're not pulling anything from your pantry, your costs may be a bit higher. That said, once you have established a stocked pantry you'll find I repeat a lot of the same ingredients, just assembled in different ways. You still get variety in flavor, but it's still a budget conscious menu.
No!!!! Not the vegetable stuffed cabbage rolls. Evil!
