Thank you, Mom! Recognizing the Strive for Excellence

    Heather says:

Have you been watching the 2010 Winter Olympic Games? I know have been enjoying the fascination with the Curling events in my Twitter-stream.

One of the many recent projects I have been proud to take part in has been the inaugural BlissTV episode which, highlights the Procter & Gamble Thank You Mom Campaign and Contest. If you have been watching the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, you’ve probably seen some of their commercials thanking mothers for their sacrifices. We were asked to tell a story about someone we knew who exemplifies the Core Values of the US Olympic Movement: Excellence, Respect, and Friendship. I nominated my friend Margo, she’s the mom I most try to emulate. Margo is dependable, an amazing friend, and most importantly -to me- still human, warm, and approachable.

It’s your turn to nominate a mom you feel lives out the Core Values of the US Olympic Movement. One of those nominees will receive a 4-day, 3 night all-expense paid trip to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London where she’ll be able to cheer on Team USA.

I’m not sure. You’ll have to check the rules over on the P&G nomination page. Good luck :)

I met margo 26 years ago and we’ve been friends ever since. You are very right about her ;)

I really don’t know what I would have done without her over the past few years.

So, do you and Margo plan to bring any recipes back from London?
