Heather says:
With all the birthday madness behind us, I can relax and look toward fall. I’m hoping to find some time for baking and even more to test the boatload of apple recipes I have saved. My produce stand promised me North Carolina apples will be arriving this week. I can’t wait. Unfortunately a trip to pick our own just isn’t in the cards this year.
Dinner:
- Monday - Veggie chili, cornbread
- Tuesday - Carmelized garlic chicken, squash casserole, green beans
- Wednesday - Mustgo soup, grilled cheese
- Thursday - Breaded pork chops, rice, gravy, zucchini
- Friday - Stuffed bell peppers, leftover vegetables
- Saturday - Buffalo chicken sandwiches, raw carrot, celery, broccoli
- Sunday - Potroast, pan roasted vegetables, roasted potatoes
Lunch:
- Open faced hot ham and cheese on bagels, salad
- Baked potatoes stuffed with chili, cheese
- PB&J, veggies, chips
- Leftovers
- Tossed salad with tuna
- Taco pie
- Cheese quesadillas, refried beans, fruit

I’m laughing to myself because I used to call myself Home Ec Heather back in the days when I taught Home Ec! First time visiting this site via Meal Plan Monday. I will be back!

I wish we were picking our own apples, we’ve had a blast doing it in previous years and I look forward to the next time we can go.
I will post the garlic chicken recipe if it turns out as nice as it sounds.
Nice to meet ya, Heather! (I’m quite used to sharing my name.)
