Do it now, while you’re thinking of it.

Are you having enough people to your house this Thanksgiving, that you need to  put leaves (or, extensions, whatever you call them) in your table? Where *are* those leaves, anyway? Did you put them in the attic or the garage? Or are they in the hall closet? Don’t leave finding them until Thanksgiving.

Go find them now and polish them if necessary. And while you’re at it, unearth the dining room table. It’s a known fact that flat surfaces that aren’t used daily often end up being the dumping ground for bills, school papers, and every other thing that doesn’t really have a home in your house. Go ahead and clean and polish it now, and put a pretty tablecloth on it. Put a centerpiece on the table to encourage yourself to keep the table clean!
