Here’s a craft you can do with your kids to get ready for Thanksgiving. Make place cards for the people who will be at your table come Turkey Day. You can either print some out (I like these) or you can cut the cards out of cardstock and have the kids draw them. Including kids in getting ready for the big day helps them to feel important and makes them excited for the holiday!

When I was in elementary school, we made Thanksgiving placecards for everyone in our family. They had a miniature cornucopia glued on them made of a bugle and some fruit-shaped cereal (I can’t remember which brand… it’s been awhile!!)… They turned out really cute!
