I don’t yet have much experience at baby showers, but I had a record number of friends and family get married this year so I’m thinking there will be a few babies due in 2009. These “cakes” are adorable and creative, and even if I don’t win I’ll try my hand at putting one (or two or three) together. Thanks!

Wow I’ve been to soo many showers but i gotta say that the best moment was at my baby shower, it was a suprise and everyone and any one i knew was there. I dont know how they pulled it off but it was amazing when i walked in!!
My tip: If you want to do something for a 2nd or 3rd time mom, throw a POKER TOURNEY shower. Make the “buy in” a package of diapers, serve casual food and the big winner will get a really nice gift certificate to a good restaurant or movie theatre, etc. This is a fun way to get all the friends together and give the new family some essentials when they already have the cribs, bouncers, clothing left over from the previous babies!
