Thin, chewy, classic chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks butter) softened – allow them to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes or cheat & grate it
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 TBSP vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

If you just can’t decide whether to make oatmeal or chocolate chip cookies this is the joyful union of both. These are a little chewy, a little soft, and a whole lot of chocolate.

Ingredients:

 

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt (unless you use salted butter, then reduce to 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
