i’m hoping I will eventually have some tomatoes to try this with — my plants are currently so piddly small that I doubt they will produce anything

I’ll tuck this recipe away in case my friends gardens are abundant and they feel generous!

Yum! That’s really similar to my recipe, except instead of chicken broth I use low-sodium V8. Now I think I might have to make that this weekend. Would be a nice Sunday evening supper!

I have grown to absolutely LOVE homemade tomato soup! It’s so much better than the canned stuff and doesn’t take any longer to make, really, either.

I tried America’s Test Kitchen’s recipe a couple of months back and it was wonderful.
