I don’t know about everyone else, but coming off of vacation mode and switching back to productive is hard for me. It is extra hard when it was a mini-vacation spent at home. To give myself a mental kick in the butt I’ll be using my timer today. There are a lot of jobs that were neglected and setting the timer for 10 or 15 minute intervals will help keep me on track.
In addition, I will use it to remind myself to PLAY with my kids and not just say, “after this or after that.”
Try it with me, it doesn’t have to be all day; try it for an hour. See how much you can do.
