Heather says:
It’s Sunday again and time for this week’s confessional. Life is not as perfect as the glossies -magazines- would lead you to believe. Sure we can crop out the mistakes and messes, but it’s in those unedited moments that we are most human. The Sunday confessional isn’t about celebrating mediocrity or not trying to do better; it’s simply a chance to drop our pretenses and chuckle at our shortcomings.
Ready?
Christmas has come and gone, in our tradition today would be the day to take down our decorations (it’s the Feast of the Epiphany). But, that’s not on the agenda. Why? I didn’t put up one single decoration, not a candle, not a knick-knack. There’s not a speck of tinsel to be seen; Ebeneezer Scrooge would have felt perfectly at home this season in the Solos’ home.
So now it’s your turn, what do you have to get off your chest?
