It’s been a recurring theme in my life lately- making changes in your life bit by bit instead of making a major change that may not stick. It really does work. I think we all have areas in our lives that we would like to change. Instead of a big sweeping change, work on those areas a little at a time.

Here’s an example- I drink way too much Dr. Pepper. Awhile back, I had someone suggest that instead of just quitting drinking Dr. Pepper altogether, to wean myself off of it slowly. Before having another Dr. Pepper, I have to drink at least that much water. Once I did that for a little while, I doubled the amount of water I needed to drink before having another. I have not yet decided how far I am going to take this- Dr. Pepper is unhealthy and expensive, but it seems to me that a life without Dr. Pepper is a very sad life indeed. I’m thinking about going to the point of only having 1 or 2 a week- I’m not sure yet.

What small changes could you start making today? What areas of your life are you working on? We’re here to help.
