With three young children it is much easier for me to pull in, close the door, and then unbuckle everyone before herding them toward the door. It keeps them from running toward the street or the nearby construction. Others may be in a same or similar season of their life. Once everyone can get into the house under their own power I’ll consider it a viable option.

For others, the garage or parking may be behind the house.
