We do this too, but use Old Bay seasoning. Not sure if this a regional seasoning or not, but it's very useful!

Mmm, sounds good... sometimes I feel like recipes like this aren't included in cookbooks because they're too simple, but I need all the simple recipes I can get! :)

My 12yo ds started making these about a year ago and we're addicted. It's his favorite thing to make and I'm glad!

(Oh, and yes, it's the dry powder.)

By Ranch seasoning, do you mean the dry powder used to make dressing, or Ranch dressing in a bottle?

we love these too! I've actually never bothered to season them - just salt. We eat them with ketchup, or if we're in a at-the-boardwalk kick, we sprinkle vinegar on them. Yum.
