We do this too, but use Old Bay seasoning. Not sure if this a regional seasoning or not, but it’s very useful!

we love these too! I’ve actually never bothered to season them – just salt. We eat them with ketchup, or if we’re in a at-the-boardwalk kick, we sprinkle vinegar on them. Yum.
