We were very suprised when we reheated them in the microwave for a late night snack! The totally tasted like the day I made them. I am going to make homemade waffles also, so my son can make a quick snack anytime!! I was so happy it worked. Do it you won't regreat it!!!!!!!!!

I actually did this for the first time and my pancakes froze perfectly with wax paper between them and into a zip lock bag. I let my pancakes cool on a wire rack while we eat breakfast and then I move then over to the parchment lined cookie sheets and stick them in the freezer for a flash freeze. You reheat them just like you would Eggo Waffles or Pancakes. They are super yummy!!! And yes, berries are the same way. Spread them out so they don't stick to one another and by the freshest best fruit you can to help with it not being as mushy when you get it out. It won't be like eating a fresh berry or slice of fruit, but they are still very good. This also helps you buy in season when the fruits are cheaper and taste better. You can use some of the frozen fruits to top off pancakes/waffles/french toast with whip cream, drop into smoothies, mash up and sweeten for syrup to put on top of ice cream or other deserts, make a fruit salad, serve still a little frozen to a kid for a frozen treat that seems more fun that "just fruit", or bake them into muffins, bread, cakes..........just a few ideas for frozen fruit.

I actually have parchment paper that I reuse to flash freeze on my cookie sheets. For pancakes, I zap them for 20-30 seconds, then put them in the toaster over for a bit. For waffles, I put them straight into the toaster oven for double the time I do the pancakes.

I do this but use tin foil and wrap two at a time (I have two kids). Can you really just cook your pancakes and then put them in a freezer? How do you reheat them for breakfast? And about berries - you just spread them out on pans to freeze? Can you do this with other fruits too (sliced peaches, etc.)? How do you freeze your fruits so they don't get all mushy?

Oh I have SO wanted to do this for the LONGEST time (and freeze berries too) but it just sounds too simple. Does that involve liquid nitrogen?

Flash freeze? Fast homemade pancakes, waffle, french toast etc. I even double my corn muffins, breads, etc. Cheaper on the wallet as well.

This makes my mornings with little ones so much easier.
