Oooh. Now Easter’s over and your kids are back to school, and that Easter egg candy is calling your name! Are you craving chocolate? Here are a couple of things you can do to try to control the cravings:

1. Let one Hershey’s kiss (or other small piece of chocolate) melt in your mouth sloooowly. I know this is an old trick, but it really works!

2. Go brush your teeth. It’ll put a different taste in your mouth, besides, who wants to dirty up your freshly polished toofers?

3. Drink a big glass of water and do an activity to take your mind off it. Set a timer for 15-20 minutes. If you’re still craving after the time is up, go back to tip #1 and have a small piece of chocolate.

How about you, readers, how do you control your candy cravings?

  • I can deal with the candy on my own, but can you tell me how to keep myself away from all the leftover ham? LOL!

  • introducing the candy fairy! she arives after all overly sugar indulgent holidays, whisking away most of the candy and leaving a small gift or two behind. w00t!
