Adding a pinch of cinnamon to coffee grounds before brewing will cut the bitterness often associated with cheaper brands.

My roommate used to put cinnamon on the coffee grounds for guests. It’s smells great and adds a nice flavor to the coffee. And it’s such an easy thing to add!
I have done this forever… Especially nice for either a brunch or for coffee after dinner…
Another quick tip is that it is especially good with vanilla sugar (split vanilla beans with the seeds scraped out in a baggie full of plain, white sugar). Just remember to shake it up every few weeks… If you top it with a bit of real whipped cream (also blended with a couple of spoons of vanilla sugar and a splash of really good vanilla) it is dessert.
If you want the recipe for homemade vanilla extract (easy, but a tad expensive, yet worth every dime), drop me an email. Be glad to share!
