As a SAHM of a 4 yr old I have had a few oppurtunities to “share a cow” with my parents(buy the meat). I have had to pass these up because I don’t want to risk losing that much meat to freezer burn. I can not afford the foodsaver(I didn’t think those things cost that much) and haven’t even seen the HndiVac in any of the stores near me. wether I win or not I still would like to try it (if the price is right) so if I don’t win I wil just have to wait until our stores start to carry it.
Very cool product. Must sexier than the usual vacuum sealers, and an awesome price. Count me in for a shot at owning one!

I recently bought one of these food sealers. I LOVE it. It will even keep salad fresh for way longer than what I’m used to! This is such a bonus for me as we eat a lot of salad, but used to have to throw it away when we didn’t finish it within a very few days.
I think that the people who are having trouble with it are not drying off the food that they put in. I’ve only had this eperience one time with some green peppers that I had just washed and cut into chunks. The third time that the vaccum seal didn’t hold, I removed the peppers and dried in a paper towel—then the seal held just fine. A product well worth it’s price!
