We have a small house, would LOVE a bigger house… one day… My SIL has a HUGE house, which is more work, but is easier, in my opinion. My little house is harder I think because we accumulate so much clutter, that it feels like so much work, because I have to find a place for all the stuff before I can even clean it. I vote smaller = harder….

I’d say that a larger house may take *longer* but is easier. In a small house, it’s hard to cull down enough to make a spot for everything.

I clean small houses, large houses and in between houses.

Difficulty to clean has zero to do with the size and everything to do with the dirt and clutter level.

I like smaller places. I don’t mind owning less stuff in order to combat the clutter/organization problems. I wouldn’t want a larger home because I hate to clean bathrooms. A large home usually has more bathrooms! A smaller house is easier to clean in my opinion.

I say it’s all about clutter.

I like smaller spaces, DH likes bigger spaces. We have.. bigger spaces BUT with less stuff. Less stuff means easier cleanup. At least for me. Though I still long for smaller spaces, please.
