Menu Monday 8/17

Heather says:

Today, our oldest is officially starting school – virtual charter school, it’s a cross between home schooling and public. This means it’s time to get back on track and make sure dinner isn’t another hassle.

If you need a ready to go menu and shopping list, I just happen to have four weeks right here with every recipe linked and printable PDF grocery lists. These menus are geared toward a novice cook.

  1. Week one
  2. Week two
  3. Week three
  4. Week four

So, Home Eccers, what’s on the menu this week? Are you trying any new recipes or just trying to get into the habit of planning?

How about we customers figure this out. It ought to be any no-brainer

I hope you will join me for Crock Pot Wednesdays this week at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com. Thanks for posting.

What a great blog! You offer simplicity for the average family to plan a weeks worth of menu ideas along with a simple click on receipes and grocery lists!!!

Monday (tonight) my husband is making burgers on the grill, with baked beans and honeydew melon on the side.

Tuesday: Roasted chicken, roasted carrots, stuffing

Wednesday: Italian sausage with pasta & tomato sauce, salad.

Thursday: Ribeye steak, steamed corn on the cob, steamed broccoli

Friday: Shepherd's pie

Saturday: Out to dinner with a friend for me, leftovers or frozen dinner for husband.

(Our C.O.R.N. - love that acronym - is what we take to work for lunches.)

I love the idea of C.O.R.N. What a great way of identifying "leftovers" night. Sounds much better that way!
