Very cute website! Your menu looks yummy!

Speaking of home economics, I just posted a break down of what my homemade bread costs. Figuring out costs definitely is far down the economic road...lol

Once again, your menu sounds delicious this week. My family loves chimichangas, but I always buy them premade, so this recipe sounds really easy for me to make. Thank you for posting the link to it.

I could sure use some tips on avoiding the drive through on hectic weeks. We're prepping our house to sell and I'm the one who gets to try and strip wallpaper while watching a 5-year-old and taking breaks to feed people. And of course, the wallpaper is in the kitchen! I've got plenty of protein frozen but finding the time to implement a meal is getting tough. And since I'm emptying out the pantry, there's not much to fall back on.

I was also intrigued by the cabbage skillet and actually had cabbage, apples and kielbasa on hand. I just sauteed them all together with a bacon fat and a splash of cider. It was great! You can find several recipes through google.

Good Morning!

Your oven baked chimi's sound and look delicious. I'll have to give them a try.

I am a big fan of tex-mex type food; so is my husband. We used to have 2 Chi Chi's resturants that served an awesome grilled bbq burrito. (It was a very sad day when they closed). This burrito had a crispy looking crust like your chimichangas. I'm dying for one of those and think your recipe might work if I somehow managed to baste a little mexican bbq sauce over them before baking.

Take Care,
