    It’s Round Up Time

by Heather on June 1, 2008

    Heather says:

First I would like to wish Lynnae at BeingFrugal.net a happy one year blogiversary.  She has great tips and brings a lot of great tips and information to the frugal blogging community.  She’s also running a contest, visit and comment to enter.

It’s hip to be green.  This means you, my frugal Home Eccers are setting the trend.  Take a look at this chart by Wire and Twine, it has 50 Ways to Help the Planet.  How many were you already doing to save mone?

Trent shares his favorite uses for baking soda, along with a link to a free ebook filled with many other suggestions.

Carissa at Blisfully Domestic sings the praises of one of her favorite cleaning tools, the floursack dishtowel.  I have been considering designing a bunch with the Home Ec 101 seal of approval on one side and the seal of disapproval on the other.

I love our handmade rope for the stairs from this site: a great handrail for my little ones and when granny comes to visit because her knees aren’t what they were.

All the rage in England, apparently, especially in stately homes, so we feel quite upmarket now!
