Keter, I totally agree with you about how to launder bras. Sometimes I even handwash mine. Not that mine are super-expensive (love TJMaxx!), but when I find one I like, I want it to last.

I tend to put off buying undies for myself and then I’ll suddenly get the urge and buy, like 6 pair of panties and two bras all at once!

Nowadays, though, all my panties are not fit to be seen. After recovering from my hysterectomy, I’m throwing them ALL away and buying all new! I can’t wait! (Was that TMI? Sorry!)

Mine are in OK shape, but I need the next size up! My butt has gotten too big for mine, LOL… Uggg, the thought of getting the next size up freaks me out so bad that I’m just putting it off! OH, and bra’s.. that’s a whole nuther’ story! I can’t go to WM or Target’ … My boobs require extra reinforcement that I’ve not found in cheaper bras. 36DD… I need more!

you know i actually feel guilty buying myself new underwear, and you’re righ tit’s not really an indulgence, it’s a necessity. you should see the inner battle i went through the other day buying myself pants that fit because i couldn’t sit in any of my existing pairs anymore. go you girl!

I always put off shopping for underwear because I worry that the new ones won’t be comfortable. (The right fit is pretty essential for guys, you see.) I’m currently on a business trip in India and knew I’d have to buy a lot of new clothes before coming here, so I bit the bullet and grabbed two packages of Jockeys, with three pair in each. It’s actually unwise to buy two sets in case you don’t like them, but I was at Ross, so it wasn’t a big investment. Now I’ve got six nice new pairs that actually are quite comfortable, and scores of older pairs back home that I’ll probably wear until they turn to dust.

The reason I had to get new ones for the trip? Someone else is doing my laundry.

I’m so hard to fit (34 G) that my bra situation is always a problem. Macy’s has started carrying a few items in my size, but they are damnably expensive – $35 ea. and up. Fortunately, I get by well with boyshorts from Target on the other end. ;0)

Hint if you want your undies to last well: never put them in the dryer, always hang dry. They seem to do just fine in a lingerie bag in the washer, but be sure to hook the bras closed before putting them in the bag to prevent snarls.
