Ditto to Kate and Melissa. I was just fine all day yesterday at work, and all through Mass after work, until Father gave a special blessing to the mothers. And then I fell apart. Reading this post last night helped. It’s nice reading comments from others and realizing I’m not alone.

Oh, I so agree with Kate. Mother’s Day is the hardest day of the year for me.

Thank you so much for recognizing, in addition to mothers, those women who do not have children either by choice or by circumstance. I really appreciate that.
