What is the ration of Clean Day Cleaner to Water?
Do you use sponges for the walls or is there a better wall cleaning utensil that you recommend?
Do you also use this on ceilings?

Ivy, I don’t know how you strike just the right you-can-do-this tone at Home Ec 101, but you manage to carry it off it without irony or preachiness.

I find myself nodding along, thinking, “Why yes, I think I will wash the walls today…”

Will I pick up a sponge? Probably not, but it’s nice to know that someone, somewhere is getting things done in good humor.

I am not sure I have the gumption today to even do one room. Back muscles are sore from painting yesterday. Being fluffing a load of laundry for 30 minutes now. LOL Their probably too hot to fold now, so that ought to get me another ten. I tell you the rain is making me sleepy.

Yeah, I do wash every wall in my house, except where the ceiling gets above 10ish feet in the living room. Ah, the benefit of living in a small house.

I talked to #3′s class on genealogy today and then treated myself to lunch. I did sweep the dust out of the foyer floor. (Though to the kitchen. LOL)

I have a meeting tonight so I don’t want to paint because I will get cruddy so I am playing on the computer and doing laundry today.

Tomorrow I am going to strip more wallpaper and paint some more, and Thursday I have a sub 1/2 day.
I admit I am not a big wall washer. I will dust the walls if they get dirty and I do wash around light fixtures, but the rest of the wall, it seems easier to me to repaint.

We got rain here too! Yeah, but that means now the dog will have to have another bath. He’s a mud magnet. Luckily he’s staying on the porch so maybe it won’t be too bad.

So do you wash every wall in your house? If I just did the outside walls, the house is 2800 square feet on two floors. The walls are 9 feet tall. I am not good at word problems, but that seems like an awful lot of square footage to be washing, especially in one day. I figured around 1900 square feet for just the outside walls. That’s not counting the interior walls. What’s in that rain you are getting? Ours is making me sleepy.
