Luckily this year, it is just us. No extra guests and chaos. As I get older, the more people the less merrier I am. Hahahaha. I would love some great tips on deep frying a turkey and maybe a good pumpkin pie recipe that is different from the norm. Looking forward! As my mama always says, "If you can't be the good example, at least serve as the horrible warning." I still have yet to cook a proper Thanksgiving meal (I love to cook) because my mother's generation still bosses the kitchen and does the important things (I'm allowed to contribute something dumb like rolls). But this year I decided that when turkeys go on sale, I'm buying one and I'm roasting that bugger. It's TIME. So please talk turkey! ooooh, is there a story behind nearly killing your entire family??
