I’m a firm believer that we all have two families, those we are born to and those we create; Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate with both. This year, I’ll be posting: recipes, shopping lists, a break down of how to get things done in a timely manner, cleaning checklists, and maybe a few *gasp* simple decorating ideas.
Many of you remember the early Thanksgiving dinner I served to twenty friends and relatives last year. I didn’t have time to pull it off this year, but I have collected some new recipes to add to the collection. Just as an example, I’ve been drooling over a shrimp and andouille sausage dressing recipe I’ve had tacked up on my bulletin board for months. So hang tight, the fun kicks off tomorrow and don’t worry, it won’t interrupt business as usual around here. I’ve got a growing backlog of reader questions, some cookbooks to give away and a few home maintenance posts to squeeze in all before it’s time to put the bird in the oven.
