I have had so much fun decorating and stepping outside the box on menu items this year. My candy corn centerpiece was finished off last week (thanks to my sugar-craved 3 year old) but I happily built a new one last night and it waits tomorrow's preparations to be set out. We have crafted and baked to our hearts content these past few weeks. My 21 pound bird sits in the fridge (still frozen....so now I even get to try out the infamous water bath method!) The house is clean....menu set....and the preparations begin after the kiddos hit the sack this evening. Happy Turkey day to everyone......Gobble! Gobble! I slice mine and bake then in a pyrex dish and was planning on doing the prep for that today, is that ok?
