can you find or know of a recipe that my grandmother made that was amazing and just consisted of rolled oats soaked in oil and then combined with brown sugar. i remember the oats soaked up all the oil (don't know quantities of ingredients) overnight and one simply formed rounds. chewy, rich, flavorful and NOTHING cooked…. thanks

I grew up on these cookies…they're amazing. My mom always added peanut butter to them, though… (She adds peanut butter to everything- boxed brownies, rice krispy treats, pancakes… she'd put peanut butter on peanut butter, if she could.) Anyway, nice recipe. I enjoy this site very much.

Oh… and for Becky and Ivy… I have done a few sugar-free desserts (I am diabetic) so if you need some ideas do let me know. I’m afraid I haven’t got all of them tagged as ’sugar-free’ on my blog… I will be updating that this weekend.

Do you have recipes for Diabetics? any sugar free cookie recipes? I try to make sugar-free cookies without using any artificial sweetners and it’s harder than it looks most of the time. I have a few recipes that I do, but I am always on the lookout for more Thanks
