My confession is two-fold: I haven’t seen my kitchen table for all the paper on it for weeks. And I have piles of miscellaneous papers in my sewing room/office that HAVE to be dealt with before taxes can be filed. May God have mercy on me!
BTW — Sunday naps never need to be confessed. They are the essence of Sunday rest! (But, then, I’m a pastor, so it may be different for others!) I do wonder why I never got to have kids who would leave me alone to nap while they trashed the house … they always bugged me ( but NEVER their father….)

I am pregnant…enough said? I have had zero energy since about week 6 (now in week 10) and so there has been a neverending pile of dishes no matter how many loads I seem to do. Laundry hasn’t been caught up for a while.

We did have friends over on Saturday, so at least the house got picked up pretty well. I was so close to having all the dishes done before company got here and now I have twice as many to do

I’ve had dishes in the sink since Thursday, no bag in the kitchen trash can (I only took the trash out because it smelled so awful), an apartment so messy I don’t know where to start, and the 2nd 3 day weekend in a row in which to fix all of it.

But I’m reconfiguring my blog instead of doing anything else. And posting here. Sigh.

Okay,
Hubby did bury the bird on Wednesday. I never noticed. So now I just need to clean the cage and put it away. I’d like to get another bird someday, but I am too overwhelmed right now to care for it. How do women work full time job and have kids? My part time job is more than I can seem to handle lately.

NOt confessing, that would take more energy than I am wasting on any thing these days.

Normally I have the house all clean and laundry done, but I haven’t done a thing all week. The bird died on Wednesday, and I don’t think Hubby has buried it yet. This is so weird for our family.
I’m blaming the “whiskey” (the DG brand cough medicine) that Hubby has been feeding me. THat stuff is rancid bad and affects my ability to care about anything. Never give a teetotaler a swig of cough medicine if you want clean dishes.

#1 did laundry all day yesterday and got us caught up. He washed clothes all day, and I only made the effort to throw in some stuff so I’d have clothes for today.

I found a box of weirdness (old papers, assorted junk) of unknown origin lurking under my husband’s desk last weekend, and it’s still sitting beside my desk, waiting for me to work up the courage to go through it. The last time I went through one of his junk boxes, I found a rat trap, almost the hard way. *Snap!* Scared the daylights out of me. “Oh, that’s where that went. I brought it in to put cheese in it…” [insert unkind thought about leaving said booby trap on his chair next time]

My house is the headquarters for this years dust bunny convention. And I’m seeing how many cracker crumbs can cumulate in the living room carpet. I’m thinking they are building a commune and I hoping I’m on their leaders good side. I just can’t seem to pull out the vac. Maybe its the fact my dog thinks the vac is Satan or that I’m in a funk…or just a case of the old fashioned lazys.
