		<description>I&#039;ve done this for YEARS.  I have frequent neck spasms, so I had an old tube sock filled with rice that I brought into work (back when I was working).  After a year or so of use, the sock looked a little brown, but it was from the heat in the microwave, not dirt.  But once I put in the office microwave and then got distracted and forgot about it until I heard someone say:

&quot;ewwww! Someone put a sock in the microwave!&quot;.

		<description>Add a bit of fragrance (like lavender), and you&#039;ve made your very own spa wrap.  :)  I have a spray bottle that holds a mixture of lavender oil and water, and I spritz the wrap before it goes into the microwave.  The moisture helps keep the rice from scorching too.</description>
