roast beef and turkey with cheese (depends on my mood) dijon mustard and mayo with green olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, green leaf lettuce, alfalfa sprouts and maybe some black pepper and oregano.

I love honey turkey and ham on a soft bagel w/swiss, sharp cheddar, miracle whip light and shredded lettuce.

Or tuna mixed w/miracle whip lt., swiss cheese on wheat bread grilled.

OR turkey and sharp cheddar on french bread, cooked open faced in the toaster oven…..

And NOW I am going to go make all 3! j/k!! lol

Mmmm… I’ve been thinking about making my favorite for a few days now….
Turkey & Provolone w/ grilled or sauteed onions & honey mustard on rye. This one has to be grilled!

roast beef with havarti (I prefer dill havarti) on wheat with mayo and mustard (with lettuce and tomato when I have them in the house.

cheesy tuna melt – tuna salad meets grilled cheese. YUMMMMM!!!!!

I make a salad out of riccota cheese and finely chopped veggies of choice. I like peppers, onion tomato and mushrooms. Mix well with a splash of soy sauce to taste. Spread over bread of choice and broil until bubbly. Top with fresh basil. This has been a fav of my kids since they were little. One good way to get them to eat their veggies!

Genoa on soft seedless rye with a smear of mustard and a half dill. Or bacon on wheat with peanut butter, lettuce and potato chips (yes, on the sandwich).

But they give me a lot of Jewish Guilt, those sandwiches- barring turkey substitutes which aren’t nearly as good. So now I do fresh mozz on crusty baguette with sundried tomatoes, basil, olive oil and roasted red peppers sometimes. SO good.
