You sound like my hubby. He loves watching old tv shows with #3 all snuggled up with a bowl of popcorn. The two of them are in their own worlds when that tv goes on. They love old black and whites. She’s older now, so he can show her scary stuff from the 50s. Of course, she’s not the least bit scared. But it’s nice for me to have some down time or get chores done and know she’s not being ignored. I bet your wife thinks you are the world’s sexiest man too!

I settle into my recliner, she sits on the arm of the recliner and lays out across me, and we watch, sometime chat, giggle, just spend some time together.

During football season, there is marching band things to do, my sister is in band, and I help in the band concession stand during the games.

Otherwise, during the summer I have to work second shift, and work Friday night

Yup, our life revolves around the three kids.

It’s something nice and relaxing to look forward to at the end of the week.

Now Husband and I have started a pizza night tradition- making our own pizza dough and pizza, and having people over to play games. Sometimes just staying in and playing games, the two of us. We might switch to Saturday nights though, because most of his college friends around here go to a Bible study on Friday nights.

Now, I take classes on Saturday mornings so Fridays are all about studying .. not nearly as much fun! But, still a great night forordering pizza! It helps the brain study .. right?!
