That's what it is, of course, and it's related to the H5N5 virus, which is the Avian flu. Does that now mean that pigs can fly? LOL

I was glad to hear media people calling it the H1N1 flu. My dad overheard a conversation where a man was talking about how he had to throw out everything from his freezer. My Dad chimed in and said, "let me know when and I'll take it to mine." LOL He then had to explain to the man that pork products are just fine.I have quite a few lovely pieces of on sale pork in the freezer and on the dinner table right now. Thanks for getting the word out!

I talked about this same thing on my blog. ThatBobbieGirl, yes Home-Ec101.com frequently influences international porcine policy. ;) I love pork chops, especially when there is little work involved. Great buys Becca.

Ron, somehow I don’t think Mexicans would appreciate that idea.
ThatBobbieGirl, yes Home-Ec101.com frequently influences international porcine policy. I love pork chops, especially when there is little work involved.
Great buys Becca.

By: Becca

I was so frugalicious this week on the shopping because folks DO THINK that pork causes the swine flu. Beautiful pork chops, nice center-cut bacon and a pork tenderloin that is being saved for a special occasion.Hilarious and wonderfully economical for me. Its a win-win.

I was so frugalicious this week on the shopping because folks DO THINK that pork causes the swine flu. I know a lot of people who think that can't eat pork anymore, and I have to say, it's really annoying. Do your research people! And always cook your pork to 165 degrees (no pink)!

THANK YOU for stating this.
